On April 25th & 26th. 2014 we will hold the second annual "FE Race & Reunion" at Beaver Springs Dragway in Beaver Springs, PA. This is an event celebrating the Ford FE Big block. It's a low key, high fun event. Track owner Beaver Bob of Beaver Springs is giving us the track for the entire two days. An IHRA 1/4 mile drag strip at our disposal. We will have racing, TNT and a car show/cruise. There will be 3 FE race classes. Pro FE (Quick , Hot FE 12.99 - under and Cool FE 13.00 and up, bracket style. Beaver Bob is supplying very special trophies to all classes. Racing fee will be $40. When not racing we'll be testing and tuning so if you don't want to competitively race you can just have fun and make passes at your own pace all day long. All FE powered show vehicles are admitted free and eligible for one of 15 awards. Admission for spectators is only $10.

New for this year is the Friday evening, April 25th. test and tune session!! If you want to work the bugs out before the big day on Saturday here is your chance!! Also, we are having a Friday night meet and greet cookout at the track. Burgers & Brats will be available to all of the FE faithful!! You can hangout and meet new friends who have the FE interests like you do along with having a brat.

Also this year we will have Ford racing legends Dick Brannan and Hubert Platt there talking with fans about the old days and signing autographs!!! What else could you ask for? A drag strip with only FE powered vehicles along with a huge show open to only FEs. Beaver Bob has told me, he's more excited about this event than any other that he puts on all year!!

So if you ever wanted to see what your FE can do in the quarter mile head out to Beaver Springs Dragway for the "FE Race & Reunion" on April 25 & 26, 2014 10AM-4PM. If you just want to show that's cool too!!

The Ford Big block FE engine was produced from 1958 until 1976. Sizes in cubic inch include 332, 352, 360, 390, 406, 410 427 & 428. If you’ve got one in any type of vehicle bring it out to Beaver Springs Dragway on April 25 & 26, 2014. FT powered trucks are welcome too!!!

I'm a 427 fan. I've had one in my Cobra replica for 20 years. However, I REALLY appreciate a 427 in a Fairlane.

While watching all the FE's run last year, we looked forward to your car lining up at the tree! Can you divulge any specs about your engine on this site, or will I have to try to twist your arm at the 2014 event for this info?

601HP, the engine in my car is a 1963 427 center oiler block with Edelbrock heads that were ported by Jim K untz. The camshaft is a flat tappet (not a roller) that was custom ground also by K untz. The heads and cam were done in 2001 by Jim. The intake is a Tunnel Wedge with two Braswell prepped 1000 HP Holley's. Trans is a C4.

The engine was assembled by my father who has been racing FE's since 1961. He was racing the "Mister Twister" '67 Comet 202 that was also at the event.

My car has been a best of 9.22 @ 143.68 (1.27 60') and hopefully will be a little faster in 2014 after a couple of minor updates. The car weighs 3,300 lbs. with me in it. Rear suspension is all Cal-Trac with 10.5 Hoosier radial slicks.

This event is about the FE & FT engine no matter how fast or slow or how perfect or ugly the vehicle that it is in.

Jesel Valvetrain has come onboard to be part of the 2014 FE Race & Reunion. They will be awarding one of their FE belt drive systems to the winner of the "Fastest Thunderbolt Standing" challenge. They will also be providing other items including Jesel gift certificates to be awarded to participants of this years event. Jesel will also have a display showing all of their FE products at this years event. It is very rewarding to have a company such as Jesel come to us and want to be part of our event.
