Need Tuning advice
Hey Guys-Need some advice/help!
Here is a list of my equipment- all in my 03 Excursion
Alpine IVA W505
JL ZR570 Up Front
JL XR570 In The Rear Door- Nothing in the third row area
Run off a 300/4
2 12w6v2 D4 in a ported box, Off a JL 500/1
So as of now I have my Input Sensitivity at 50% or so, Subsonic at 20, low pass at 65, ZERO bass boost, Q at 1.6 and Center at 45. If I play some bass heavy songs ( Young Jeezy, DMX, Etc) My head hurts, loud and low. But when I toss in Some Rock ( FFDP, Disturbed, Etc) Which is my most played, 90% of the time, I have very little output and have to turn my sub output on my deck up, and at that point it sounds muddy and like crap. Any ideas on where I am going wrong??

Well- I did change that- and it helped... What helped the most was a new 3.5mm - 2RCA connection cable. I found out this am when I Bumped my phone and had a LARGE thump from the subs.... Dammit. LOL.... But thanks for that help

Ah...that makes sense. My sons use a 3.5 to 3.5 to plug their phones into my Pioneer aux to play songs off of YouTube. Using their phones, sound quality is marginal at best. Gotta crank it up pretty good just to hear it. I usually play music thru a 16 gig usb flash drive. Sound quality has usually been great. Have had the Pioneer for about 3 years now and I think I have used the CD player maybe 10 times. Flash drive is ALOT smaller and holds ALOT more.
