front fenders

new to all this. I have been working on a 1952 f2 to f1 conv. (didn't have enough parts to stay an f2) bought a new bed and rear fenders for a 1952 f1 did the frame and all here is the question can I use the f2 front fenders and just buy new running boards that will fit the f1 rear fenders. I know the front wheel opening is different but that's all I know .

Yes the f2 fenders will be fine and mount to the f1 running boards but as you said the wheel opening will be larger than your rear fenders.

This is my 1950 F-2. Note that it has a 1952 front end and an F-1 box. You will have to do a bit of work to get the box mounted correctly as the cross members are not in the right spot but nothing major.

Normally they do but a PO shortened the wheelbase by 10 inches. Obviously the F-2 running boards would not fit so they put on Cab-Chassis RBs. It works but eventually I want to move the rear fenders 2" forward to center the rear wheels in the wheel wells where they belong. Then modify a set of full running boards to fit. You will have to find some F-1 boards which I understand should fit.
