95 f150 gear change

I'm planning on changing to 410 gears in my truck. I'm going to get the rear out of a ranger FX4 or explorer with the limited slip carrier. I read somewhere that I can't put 410 in my dana 44 front carrier but I can bolt in a light duty f250 dana 44 carrier and some have 410s. If this is true what year trucks have the dana 44 ttb that I could use

Have you ever done a gear change before?

As for the front, almost every reg cab F250 from 80-91 had the D44 front axle

DANA 44 applies to FRONT Drive Axle ONLY
If you already have a 4wd D44/TTB-equipped F-150, I do not see any problem in swapping like-for-like 3rd members.

Remember, the TTB D44 was designed as a "drop-out" center section, sorta like a 9-in.

At a guess, I'd say any F-150 D44 TTB from 1980-1996 would be a good donor; I'd want to some research on Rangers, F-100, '80-82 F-150, and F-250 Light Duty.

I'd do some reading at one of the dedicated gearhead vendors, Randy's Ring and Pinion would be one.

Or, if you have a 2wd F-150, you could swap front axles with me--I have a 4wd '91 F-150, 4.10 Limited Slip that I want to convert back to 2wd.

FORD 9-inch and 8.8 applies to REAR AXLE ONLY
Basically, the internal pieces simply are not inchangeable
with the D44.

I have a co worker that has and willing to help. So the carrier will bolt in with no axle changes?

Any front axle third member from a full size Ford will work, including D50 third members.

If I remember correctly it was only 5.0 Mustangs and trucks that got an 8.8 with 31spline axles, all others used 28 spline axles.
