Bruce - How are you feeling? Have you heard anything on your biopsy yet? How did it go?

Not much going on around here today. Just recovering from a long weekend full of basketball & volleyball games, late nights watching Athena, then down to the bar to celebrate a friends birthday & play pool & darts. I did manage to squeeze in a ride on the Ninja too!
But, boy am I paying for it today! 3 days of getting to bed between midnight & 1am is for the birds. LOL! God, I'd give almost anything to be 21 again... it sucks getting old.

I hope everyone had a great day. I have been stuck helping a bud with his wife's Neon.
Started with the fans not working after he flushed the coolant system. She brought it over her and I removed the fans and tested them separately and then together. All good, so I install and have the car running as I am checking fuses. Then the car just dies and refuses to start back up. No fuel and no fire, so it looks like an auto shut down system issue. I check the relays and they are functioning fine. The PCM is not sending signal, so we grab an ECM from the pick a part and have signal again but still no start situation. From the research I have compiled it can be 3 sensors causing this, the cam/crank/VSS sensors. Now tomorrow I get to track those down and test each one. So much fun.

 

I agree Donna, it sucks getting old. The weather was nice enough to work on the sprinklers today. Good luck with the Neon, Greg. That doesn't sound like much fun.

 

I wish I still had my snap-on scanner. It would make this much easier.
