I live on a half mile of really bad road up the side of a mountain. I vote for the BIG ones. And the bias ply tires are just one more feather in your caps! Holy cow, that's some cool trucks......

 

I friggin love seeing these trucks still alive and doing work 60 years later.

Photos like that are interesting but sad too with all that derelict machinery and trucks most of which will just rust away (or be crushed, melted down). I hate seeing old cars lying in paddocks, makes me want to take it home and look after it.

Reminds me of a photo series I looked at recently of the worlds 7 biggest battle tank graveyards. Man I saw a few things there I would love to bring home from around the world. My wife probably would not appreciate it in our suburban backyard though. Tanks have fascinated me since I was quite young, but never got to work in them.

 

Trust me. There are TONS of stray iron I would love to bring home and back to life, but my wife puts up with the fleet I have now, so I guess I'm lucky There's only so much time we all have anyhow! I just feel prove lived to at least see them before they...or I go
