AE Help.... won't connect to Enhanced Powertrain on 04 F-150

Ok, weird issue here. I used my AE on my brother's truck just a couple days ago. Worked fine. I sent it with him to NY where he's stationed, and now it won't connect to Enhanced Powertrain, only Generic.

Any ideas why? Solutions?

I had him try restarting the computer and the truck, no change. I'm at a loss.

you have to activate it on every computer it is loaded into. without activation, it is just a generic scan tool and will only do basics.
and if it is a newer version, it will not work without the security dongle.

It WAS working tho, that's the part that confuses me. I used it on his truck just a couple days before Christmas.

Maybe there's a new Win7 update that makes it not work correctly....the ONLY thing that changed is I updated Win7 and the antivirus the day before he left.
