Seat Organizers

...I hated how the pockets in the back of my seats (Expedition and now an Excursion) stretch out and look terrible if anything is inside (since you can see everything inside).

Found this at Blue Ridge Overland Gear (http://www.blueridgeoverlandgear.com/):

Fits over the top of your headrest then along the bottom where the seat hinge sits.

I' have some additional MOLLE pouches coming (tear-away first aid, etc.) that will hold things like binoculars, radio batteries, an aid kit, etc. etc.

It has a hard inner liner that keeps it flat and from sagging.

Very cool idea indeed! I have one of the big rig seat organizers that fits over the front of the seat---almost never have a passenger in the work truck. Anything that doesn't sag from too much crap in it would be a blessing!

Are the various pouches etc available from the same seller?

BTW that link doesn't work.

They do sell some, but not many at all. The good thing about MOLLE is its a standard not an individual item...so tons of companies make the pouches - Google "MOLLE pouch" and you'll find a ton...same on eBay. The two small pouches you see in the pic (exam glove holder and cell phone/PDA holder) are from a different seller and they fit just fine.

Another manufacturer that caters to the Jeep/FJ Cruiser crowd sells a tear-away first aid pouch that is on its way:
Large 1st Aid Pouch | Springtail Solutions

These guys (Springtail Solutions) make metal brackets with MOLLE sized cutouts...I think they may make ones that fir the back panels on the Excursion rear doors...might be nice to put straps, flares, jumper cables, etc on the rear doors in these pouches (or mounted on the rear can wall for you truck owners out there).

I believe this was the 12"x22"...I bought the last one until their new order arrives, so all they have now is the 12"x20" in black. The bottom 2 inches of this one is a Velcro strip, so if you don't need that, the ones on their site now would have equivalent strap area.

So I'm assuming this could be installed on the front of the seat back too?

I have an E-Series with integral head rest/support which accommodates my truck stop organizer okay---this would be a better system I'm sure.

BTW the first aid pouch is very cool----would be great in an emergency!

The shorter version would fit...not sure about the longer one. Tell you what...I'll flip mine (the longer version) around after work today and take a pic for you.

Here you go...the slightly longer one on the front of the seat:

...if this longer one fits, the shorter one will no problem:

If you get the MOLLE sticks, (the black things), you can make each pouch 'quick release':

You can see here, they have clips at the top...you pull the cords forward, releasing the clips, then the sticks slide directly up and the pouch falls free:

Looks like the longer version fits----now onto seeing what sort of pouches I could best use.

As soon as I get the ones for the WarX, the guy who bought the FJ saw then and I left them with the FJ, (for extra money)

I can tell you they fit like a glove they are custom made to the seats , its not a fit all set up, that's why they go for 228$ a set.

Also since I need to pay in this forum to post pictures, It gonna be awhile.
