Social groups on FTE

Been a member here for 5 years and didn't even know this place had social groups. Was cruising through my profile and noticed the "join groups" thingy.
I don't see anything listing them on the main menu page though, unless I'm blind? Why not make them more accessible?
The social groups are a great place to shoot the breeze about everything OT .....stuff that doesn't belong on here.

Anybody here belong to any groups?

I was not aware of them until you posted this. After looking at the 48-52 F1 group, there is nothing posted there that would be OT here. It appears that there are a lot of post by newbies that don't hang around because there is such a limited audience in that 'social group' they don't get much input on their questions. At least for that one, it seems to be a disservice, especially since nobody bothers telling them to come here.

Yeah, a bonus built group is kinda redundant when we have a great forum here......
I was referring to OT stuff like maybe fishing or stamp collecting, etc......

Can anyone point out where social groups are listed on the main page?

On the top banner and on the right click onto your user name and a flag comes down, you will find the social groups click on that and you have your list

I subscribe to these which are not too active
