Is a 48-50 frame different than a 51-52?

Is a 48-50 frame different than a 51-52?

I'm trying to sell a frame but I don't know if there are any differences between the year ranges. Does anyone know for sure so I can pass that on to the buyer? Thanks guys!

48-51 are the same, 52 is different. If you post a picture of the front where the engine mounts are we can identify it.

Modified. The frame's motor mount diagonals are gone. Only way I see to tell now is by the serial number. Stu

One thing I noticed different in my 48 and 51 frame was directly above the center of front axle is a factory hole drilled on the 51 but it's not on the 48.I'm really not sure why this is if that helps.

Is that the only difference? I think the buyer has a different engine to use anyway.

That's the only big difference. Don't know about that hole pweng1 saw on his. To me and probably others is the question of whether there is a title connected to the frame. A mismatch in the paper and frame is a deal killer for me. The frame number is the legal number. Stu
