Have to agree that 60 is the best looking of the fridge style, and styling is the main reason that I'm interested in these trucks.

This is a fun little subject. I grew up driving a '60 short box, three on the tree, dinky straight six. My dad was a farmer at the time and sometime around 1971 got a '59, 3/4 ton with the 292 in the bed, all apart for $65.00. The truck had less than 60,000 miles on it and had one dent on the whole truck....a single dent in the middle of the inside of the bed. We thought we had a muscle car when that truck got put together....a 4 speed and a V/8! Man we were livin'! It even had a factory heater....and the passenger visor once my dad took it out of the '60. Well, as for the subject, I think the '59 is the best looking of the bunch.

Actually saw Allen Jackson sing that song and watched it on the Jumbo Tron. It was indeed a different time!

A quick internet search shows one (1) NOS in stock at Green Sales. Also, Mac's shows a listing for a headlight switch for 1960 F100-600 @ $24.95; note they do not include the **** or light shaft. Hope this helps.
