Under the hood, sticking through the firewall, halfway down on the driver's side. You'll see a wiring harness going into the center of it held in place with a bolt.
I prefer the Haynes manual, but the PCM (EEC) is inside the L kick panel, with access from the engine compartment under the L hood hinge. It's about as low as you can reach.
