Speaker replacement
I have a 1986 f150 xlt lariat single cab and I need to know what size the original speakers were and what speakers I could get to replace them without having to cut the doors to fit the speakers.

6.5s fit. You just either mount with 2 screws or drill 2 more holes. No biggie.

Thanks I've heard that 5 1/4 would also fit is that true and the speakers are just regular circle speakers not ovals right?

Yes, 5 1/4 will fit also. Might as well get the bigger speaker though. They are round.

Yep like franklin said 5.25 fit too. Pioneer has a good set at walmart for under $50.

Alright so today I took the door panel off to measure the speakers and they measure 6 inches even does this change anything?
