[QUOTE=darren32;13832159]NICE, that is a sweet bad azz dually for sure. I love it!!
And your pic of the H&S dash mount may be enought to get me to install the one that has been sitting on my desk for 2 years
What's up with your EGT????[/QU
I will be installing my EGT blocking plate kit and installing my new pyro...It is sitting on my desk waiting on me.....I was wondering who was gonna notice that first?????
I have purchased the same mount for the MM, but I was hesitant to install it due to it blocking the door tweeter. Is there any noticeable difference in sound since installing it there?
Both trucks look great, BTW!
I can not say that I have noticed a difference....But I have a buddy of mine that does custom cabinets and he built me a custom box for two 8in sub and I swapped out door speakers.....I had him build me a box for one 10in sub in my 2012 F250 but there was not enough air space....The two 8in subs sound way better....
In regards to the black truck... How has the ready lift(stage 2) & 35" tires affected your buddies MPG???
I'm a contractor and I drive 35k-45k miles per year. A big drop in mpgs would stop me from doing the same lift kit.
Thanks for any info.
He took it to Houston yesterday and he will be back Friday.....He is doing a fuel log for me...I can let you know when he gets back....It was not a concern for him he. He will only put 8-10K miles a year on that truck and never pulling anything....I can tell you I also done the same lift and tire combo on another buddies truck (2012 F250 Lariat 4X4) He went from 18.5 mpg to 15.5 mpg. Once we deleted his 2012...He was back to 19 mpg.... He puts about 50K miles a year....All hwy miles...He just swapped out his first set of Toyo MT....He got 46K miles out of that set of tires with a good bit of rubber left on them...
GIGGER...you got the next thing on our list.....Your camper......We are looking at the 360PDEK Sierra 5th wheel.... I see your Mustang in your pic...My father has a 1966 Mustang coupe restored with engine and body matching serial numbers...

Good question, I would be interested in the answer to that one as well

Just to point something out about your buddies (and most of our) MPG's, remember, the taller tires we upsize to from the OE, slow down our speedo a little, unless you've done the speedo recal.
So the truck's recording fewer miles, which shows up in lesser MPG's. It's not a huge amount, maybe 1-2 mpg, but it's worth noting.

You can test this by just setting the mount in place and listening to whatever YOU listen to and sit back and listen to the sound difference of it in place and without. Stock tweeters are going to hear a slight difference. Nicer tweeters are going to hear a little bit more of a difference. Obviously you have the mount already, but if someone was contemplating this mod they could tape some pieces (plastic, cardboard, whatever that you have that deflects sound and not absorb) in place to hear the difference with or without. Some hear it with glaring clarity and others can't tell a difference. Just my $.02.
Does anyone have any info on MPGs when a 6.7 has all the deletes installed but stock tires and stock suspension??
Before you guys say " we didn't buy this truck for MPG!" , I agree this truck is for towing/hauling. My truck is a 60k $ work truck. I tow trailers full of tools and material.
I'm interested in being as efficient as possible at all times. Driving 40K + miles per year, MPGs is very important!!
