Turbo pedestal, & turbo parts..

Ouch, which one ???
7.3 powerstroke turbo pedestal | eBay

I really want to "sustainably" upgrade performance, but not waste my money either. I don't care if its no-name generic ebay stuff, as long as it works and won't harm anything.

I wonder which of these aftermarket parts are good investments?
banks turbo ford 7.3 | eBay

Is a BigHead Wastegate Actuator a safe modification that makes a noticeable difference?

How about the "Power Elbow/downpipe" ?

Or last but not least, how about the generic "7.3L Compressor Wheel Whiplash Ford Garrett Powerstroke Turbo Upgraded GTP38" for only $79.95 ??
The official Banks wheel is closer to $200, and I've heard the wheel is the best thing to do! idk..

I have heard about an intake too which is good. I would love to buy cheaper no-name ebay replicas, to save a few hundred, as long as they will not harm anything. This is not a daily driver for me, but I still drive it regularly. I really want to wake this 7.3 up!

If you want a EBPV delet pedestal and high flow outlet, I have one I would trade. The only thing is you will have to waite till the engine in my other truck is done.

Forget the Banks stuff. Too much buck$ and not enough bang.

PM me your address and I will send you a wheel. Tighten your wastegate actuator rod 7 turns and reinstall it. Get a 4" turbo back exhaust system and 6637 intake.
Diamond Eye 4" Aluminized Turbo Back - Riffraff Diesel Performance
Riffraff Diesel 6637 Filter Kit - Riffraff Diesel Performance
Add some gauges (pyro is most important) and a chip and you will not believe the difference in your truck. You don't need to spend a lot on a chip. You can do a TS style or DP Tuner with just a few tunes for under $300.00.

HD, that all sounds awesome. What is an EBPV delete pedestal ? what does that mean again? Is this the best I can do ?

Also, are those tunes as good as buying an ECT Tuner, like whats his face...PowerstrokeHelp recommends?? I also need a scanner, so was thinking about buying some all-in-one... I do not have a scanner yet, to detect problems. Do u think I should get one?

Thanks

This is EBPV delete pedestal.

This is a bad pic of a stock pedestal.
The stock one has an actuator for the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve located in the turbo outlet.

These chips with tunes will work better than ECT in my opinion. They can be switched on the fly, and have better tunes. The only down side is they will not read codes.

F5 Chip Module - Riffraff Diesel Performance
Most scanners will not pull codes from our trucks. Many of us here use AE.
