It was a mess at work tonight. The time change screwed up a lot and somehow we all ended up 2 hours over out required hours.

This picture absolutely terrifies me. I work in some high places too, with heat, sparks and flame, where this is a very real possibility.

They didn't. One braved the flames trying for the ladder,,, the other jumped.

Lost both of them and they were only 19 and 21.

Snowbunny.
I just don't know what to say.

I was going to post a grumble about the face I keep getting this
We have received your application for the position of Technical Support Specialist I-1302310. We regret to inform you that the position has been either cancelled OR filled with another candidate.

But that now sounds trivial when you take the fact that two people lost there lives.

Where and when did that happen. I hope that it was not one of yours.

Thanks, Sean.

It happened in The Netherlands,,, so no one I actually knew,,, just a fellow technician trying to make a living.

I posted it as a reminder of how quickly a normal day can turn to tragedy,,, and to allow us all to reflect back for a moment and be grateful for what we DO have,,, and not always focus on what we don't.

I would say,,, in your case,,, it worked!!!

We need to learn to be thankful of all of the wonderful things in our lives,,, family,,, friends,,, being upright and breathing!!! And not just around the Holidays!!!

Please don't let this create a somber mood in the BS Thread,,, I hope it can,,, in a twisted way,,, bring a smile to our faces and let us be thankful for our loved ones who DO make it home every evening!

And PLEASE!!! Be safe out there!!!
