I never really look at the asking price. I look at total weight of the truck and then figure out scrap value.
1. $400
2. 4000 pounds
3. current car body price/ .07 cents a pound
4. $280 total steel value
5. take every good part off
6. keep what i want
7. sell the rest of the good parts to cover the seed money
8. free parts for me, crush whats left, a new kia for the masses
9. time and gas is donated as its part of my mental health plan

I have a soft spot for 48 F3's so I'm glad you're going to grab this one. Keep us posted with pics and/or video of your rescue efforts. I think if you can break even (or make a few bucks) on the $ spent and help others find some hard to find parts then it's a good thing for all. There's a 51-52 F6 near me and it's killing me watching it rot away. Nothing has come out of that yard in years.

Sometimes the wheels are slow to turn so the wench will need to work alittle harder to get it to come.
