have a potential donor truck for my late 99 f350 4x4 zf 6 speed with a manual np271. The donor is a 2000 f350 auto trans and is a manual transfer case also, haventconfirmed if it is np27. wondering if the splines are the same for a plug and play install. Thanks to all for the assistance , Ron

 

What are you exactly doing are you doing an manual to auto swap?

 

swapping the psd and zf 6 into the truck that has the psd and auto with the transfer case. both are 4x4 's and dont have the np 271 from the zf 6 psd motor

that's great, thanks , only paid $350 for a cab with the zf 6 in it and has everything there for the swap. Gonna need to find the spline for the t case though, wonder where to find that?

 

Im sure you could get one from autozone or someplace like that maybe a junkyard if you are lucky worst case the dealership
