I helped build a supercab 4door longbed with 38s, to haul a 5th wheel trailer that had a slide in camper on the front and an explorer tough truck on the back. He needed the supercab space for his 3000watts of stereo. I'd put rockwells under a schoolbus and use it as a daily driver... Bigger, faster, and louder is always better.
My middle name excessive overkill2 and I approve this post
Could you take a look back in my last post when I responded last quote and enlighten me on the Dana's educate this youngster

Strength list
Ford 8.8 (explorers and trucks had 31 spline)
Ford 9" (stock had 28 spline and optional 31spline)
D60 (it's stronger than 9" because it's bigger shafts, but you can get 33spline 9" axles)
D70 (most common in dodge trucks and older cab&chassis fords)
Ford 10.25 (had smaller pinion for few years)
Ford 10.5 (only as big as needed)
D80 (Big and heavy)
Corporate 14bolt. (Big and heavy)

There's the f-superduty rear but I can't remember it (uses 10bolt 16" wheels)
99+ f450 superduty has d110 maybe. (Large 8bolt pattern 19.5" wheels)
99+ f-550 superduty has d125 or something. (Large 8bolt pattern 19.5" wheels)
Not sure on the last 3 Dana sizes, but they are BIG

Physically quite large and tipping the scales by quite a bit (correct me if I'm wrong). I think the Dana 60 and ford 9 come around in the 250 range, the sterlings in the 325 range and the corporate in the 400 range

Exactly what big and heavy mean.
They are huge axles.
Picture the d60 as a baby elephant... Oh how cute, it's tiny...
D80 is daddy elephant.

You should see the 13.5-ton rated NAF planetary axles that I spec for some of our off-road drill rig carriers. They make Rockwells look like babies. Though, they also weigh 1200-1500lbs each.

I have a 4x4 Mack that has some massive axles under it also. I don't know what rear it has but front axle rating is like 24-26k. I gotta look the next time I'm up at the property. But it's quite impressive.

What kinda wheelbase would I need what is wheel base for a 8ft dually crew?
Extended crew cab and a 10ft bed would be hella long. My truck as it is, is 25ft long and that's with a 8ft bed I would go with 8 feet and install a bed extended.

But hey it's all our dream to have a mean massive truck my suggestion would be if you went 10ft bed slap another rear axle under there.

If you do build this bad boy I'm definitely following this thread.
