Window Channel assembly parts?

Morning All,

I am looking for the window channel assembly for all four doors of a 1979 crew cab. The Channel Assembly is the metal piece that slip fits attaches to the lower edge of the door glass. The regulator assembly roller fits into the channel to manipulate the window .

So far I've struck out at the common mail order locations and my local yards don't have any trucks with doors.

Any one have a source for the parts?

Thanks!

As I type this I have my 1979 F350 SC 4X4 in the glass shop having new driver, passenger, and rear slider put in as well as having the windows new rubber and felt seals along with redoing the vent windows. The drivers side window channel was rusted and beyond repair. They couldn't locate one locally, so they built a new one from parts they had in the shop. You might ask your local glass shop if they have that capability.

1. Post this in the CC forum section at the top of this list to maybe get a dead on correct answer.
2. I remember someone saying that the regulators and internal parts on the rear doors are just like the front?

I have a 76/77 CC in my local JY, but I am OTR for quite a while.

If I'm thinking the right part...it's your lucky day. I should have quite the pile of these if the CC is the same as other cabs. How many do you need, 10-20?

PM me.

Thanks all. It looks like the part numbers for the front and rear assembly are different.

I did get a PM from a local that can let me look over his parts. I'll still need to find my own ...
