I bought a Miller 211 last month $1136.00 there is a rebate you have to buy the welder and $150- in Miller equipment to get 10% back so you could get a spool gun for welding aluminum. The 211 could also run both flux core or the other. Hobart is made by Miller has a dual 110/220 it might be the 190.Lincoln has a sale going and they have a dual as well.
Yup, those Millers are pretty sweet. Some machines have auto-link, which means you can basically plug it into anything from 110v single phase to 440 3phase and it'll take what it needs automatically. My Dynasty has that, and it is very nice.
Make sure you clean away any rust, get it to shiny metal, bevel the edges, and also pre-heat. Any weld shop worth anything should have temp sticks, they are little wax crayons that melt at a controlled temp. Use a propane torch to bring it up to about 200*, but make sure it's below 500* if you are making multiple passes. Apply heat, touch the temp stick to the surface about 1/4" away from the weld area, and if it leaves a smear you're above the temp. If it just leaves a chalky mark, you're below the temp.
Just another MillerMatic 211. I have bought three different welders from them and completely pleased. Fast free shipping and good to deal with. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MILLER-MILLERMATIC-211-W-AS-MIG-WELDER-PKG-907422-/141008456082?pt=BI_Welders&hash=item20d4c24992
I have both the Hobart 140 and the 211 Miller set up for 220. Welding with the Miller is light years ahead of the smaller mig although I'm not a fan of the autoset. I prefer to adjust manually.
thanks guys for all the help, after doing a lil research, im gonna go with a hobart 210 MVP, just to check again this thing will be enough to weld up some c-notches? its a 220 welder

Yes. Plenty.
Btw, Miller owns Hobart. I figure some of the internals are the same. The case looks surprisingly similar.
yeah i was readin about that its just a slightly less expensive miller, well excellent then, now i can weld my frame WITHOUT burning my house down :P cant wait to get this f-100 on the road
