Tomorrow I'll try to put the starter back on....that top bolt is hard to get to, for some reason. I had to remove the RF wheel, plus the inner fender splash shield to even be able to see what I was doing.

I used the Fumoto valves with a nipple that sticks straight out -108-N, I believe.

It sure looks like it will hit the starter - does it???

Definitely going to add some 3/8 hose and a clamp before the starter goes back on. If the starter ever quits someone else will have to fix it.

Miller time.
The Nipple will clear the starter! Do not sweat it! The hose you WILL use will keep the water off of the starter!

I thought about removing all of that stuff to get to the top bolt. Then I realized that the block heater wiring unplugged and i could get a deep well socket and long extension in there.

Just soak them in PBlaster a day or two before and they will come out.

The valve clears the starter, but hose on the valve is a squeeze.

DONE!!!

Fumoto valves are in, hoses are on, and the system is full of the prettiest red coolant ever. 65 degrees right now, a high of 9 degrees forecast for Thursday - finished just in time.

I am one whipped puppy....

Many thanks to all of you for the help, pointers, and general advice. I wouldn't have wanted to try it without all of you looking over my shoulder.
