Old interesting post on torque Box unibody
Just found this dated discussion back in 2006 concerning "Unibody" Ford Trucks and torque boxes.

Very interesting especially #5 from FordBoypete, since i been spending so much time underneath my '62 looking at rusty areas in the torque box area, and comparing to a parts truck 1964 with separate bed. Believe I'll transplant a couple of the '64 rear cab mounts over to the '62 and reinforce torque boxes with angle iron. That is, what's left of them on the drivers' side. Additionally, since I last posted I've replaced everything from radiator back with exception of the rear end. Replaced the froze up 6 banger with a Yblock 292 , a full syncro 3 speed and larger diameter clutch from '63 3/4 ton 4wd. 'Bout time to get the brakes working.
