I have a 2000 Windstar in excellent shape I was just given by a customer. No compression on #5 and a nasty noise.

I have access to a 2000 Taurus 3.8 locally, but the local junk yards interchange says its a no-go. He believes "they moved some sensor mounting locations"

Any ideas if this will work? I'd really love to make it happen. The Windstar is really clean/straight and the Taurus is low mileage. It'd be great for my growing family...
