What is the difference, if any in the motor that comes in these VS the Power strokes in the Fords?

 

Basicly the motors are the same, the computer systems are different. The Ford system is a PIA when something goes down without the proper reader. IH had its own system and still needs the factory reader to set the primeters. I have yet to find any stand alone systems so a swap into an earlier truck that could be done. its too bad as the 7.3 could make a real neat truck.
