223 I-6 Starter Removal

I will be removing my very tired starter from my 55 F100 223 six to have it rebuilt. I've removed/installed Ford Flathead starters before but never out of a straight six. Are there any precautions I need to take? Looks to be a pretty straight forward operation but wanted to be sure. Thanks!

The starter for my 226 came out and went back in as simple as can be. No shims, no blind bolts, and no cussin'. Hopefully the 223 is the same way.

The general process is the same. You shouldn't have any issues.
