I ended up installing the Flowmaster Force II system and so far I like it. It is pretty quiet and it has a good sound as well.

I haven't towed with it yet and that is my main concern, but it seems like it will be ok. Some of the "flutter" is gone or maybe just quieted down. I'll be towing my trailer in a couple weeks and that will be the real test, hoping it's still quiet under heavy load!

I got the Flowmaster 40 on this truck: Product Details

Its quiet on the highway, yet if i get on it in town around a bunch of brick buildings, its sounds OH SO Sexy..... I seen a power difference too, in this video i was accelerating up a hill just outside of missoula.

that actually sounds pretty nice, I'm leaning towards this muffler http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-17963 its the vt but longer case and dual 2 1/2" outlets, I like the dual ex look and if I dont like the muffler dynomax has a 90 day return policy and I can keep my dual pipes. I like the design of this, at low rpms it can actually add low rpm hp/tq because of the "slight back pressure" its also a "chambered" design in a way so it should have a unique tone, its also a straight thru design at WOT. I am new to the v10 but learning the 3v is a different animal compared to the 2v's, sounds different, feels lazy (drive by wire) but revs quickly and gets up to speed fast.

I will admit. My 2v is kinda sluggish, but I tend to attribute that to the amount of miles that are adding up on the engine. It still sounds great, pulls great, and doesnt give me problems starting up. The code it threw recently is for both banks being to lean. I personally have no idea what that means because I came from IDI diesel side of things so there is no computer nor is there codes. I wouldnt own a Automatic tranny on that side so I am a greenhorn in this thing.
