Well the douche with the bed wont call me back. Spoke over the past few days. wont reply now....Soooooooooo Found a flareside bed.....Here's how I see it. A. Beds 90% fiberglass....B. single rear tank, ill be using a bronco rear tank only. C. Hes 45 mins away from me...other bed was almost 3 hours away. D. its 500 dollars cheaper!

The problem with a flare side bed is the one tank(some came with 2) and the bedside hanged down below the cab(as you can see in the pic) ALL flaresides came with the fiberglass running board/step to make up the difference but none makes fiberglass steps for a crew cab. I was also thinking about it before I decides to make my CCSB into a dually

What if I got two sets of the running boards and put em together....? Im pretty good with glass work

I swear I had another thread going....But apparently im losing my memory at the young age of 25..
Im prob just gonna cut it down like this.

IIRC those are custom made steps, not cut down ones.
And note, that has dual tanks

hm...Ill figure something out. I really want this to be neat. lol plus really don't want to travel that far. or spend that much $ on a bed that also needs paint ya know.

look over the tailgate REALLY good(they are obsolete)
Also, look over the box of the flare side(it is all metal with fiberglass skins). they rot out pretty bad

sweet, will do. hes like ehhh I dunno 225$? when I called and asked what he wanted for it. So crossing my fingers its nice. said all the bed supports are mint

Man, wish I could find a blue F-250/350 CCLB 4X4 auto in great condition at a decent price, gas 7.5 or 7.3.

well the passangers fender is cracked bad. but I can glass that. one crossmember is rotted....hes gonna yank the bed tomorrow and call me. so ill check it out off the truck.

Alrighty, well I found a few beds...picked the one closest to me...however its rough around the wheels wells and a few supports. But its single tank which I already bought the bronco rear tank. washed it quick. Also found a cowl hood, 200$ never been painted. had to jump on it.
Cutting the frame next week. I know ive said it before, but im slowing down at work. So next week will be truck week.
