The problem with a flare side bed is the one tank(some came with 2) and the bedside hanged down below the cab(as you can see in the pic) ALL flaresides came with the fiberglass running board/step to make up the difference but none makes fiberglass steps for a crew cab. I was also thinking about it before I decides to make my CCSB into a dually
hm...Ill figure something out. I really want this to be neat. lol plus really don't want to travel that far. or spend that much $ on a bed that also needs paint ya know.
look over the tailgate REALLY good(they are obsolete)
Also, look over the box of the flare side(it is all metal with fiberglass skins). they rot out pretty bad
sweet, will do. hes like ehhh I dunno 225$? when I called and asked what he wanted for it. So crossing my fingers its nice. said all the bed supports are mint
well the passangers fender is cracked bad. but I can glass that. one crossmember is rotted....hes gonna yank the bed tomorrow and call me. so ill check it out off the truck.
Alrighty, well I found a few beds...picked the one closest to me...however its rough around the wheels wells and a few supports. But its single tank which I already bought the bronco rear tank. washed it quick. Also found a cowl hood, 200$ never been painted. had to jump on it.
Cutting the frame next week. I know ive said it before, but im slowing down at work. So next week will be truck week.
