Joe's Edith, or Jolly Roger Joe's F-4, give good views of the 19.5s. But this was harder than I thought it would be on the 22.5s. Here's a couple pics of them on later models. Stu

Here's a couple more with 19.5s.

Thank you for the photos they help a lot . I think I'm leaning towards the 22.5's
I like the look of a full wheel opening.plus won't less help in a little more on top speed?

Here's one of Betsy with the 19.5s. After struggling to mount them, I'm glad I didn't go with 22.5s. The bigger wheels would yield better road speed, but the 19.5s are heavy enough for me to handle.

I've still not heard back from my friend Jeff. As said, Mark has two. Josh I think still has his set, but I suspect he is today recovering from his own "Excellent Adventure" of the last couple of days. He'll tell that story. Stu

My F-4 had 22.5"s on it when I got it. They, IMO, made the truck look like it had wagon wheels on them. They were also close to the fender lip and I could see they were rubbing at times. Maybe the F-5s and F-6s sit a little higher than the F-4s.

With 22.5s the present day reality is that the narrowest tire is a 9R22.5" radial. This equates to having 8.25 x 20" tube types at all corners of the truck. That was the heaviest option available on F-6s. Stu

So how long is a 51 52 hood? Did i miss the answer??

Thats sounds like a fun excursion Bob and Chris. Sometimes the spur of the moment trips are the most memorable ones !

I do have a few sets of 22.5" available as Stu mentions.
I Also had an adventure that i just got home from as Stu mentioned although im sure not quite as interesting as Bob and Chris's.
I'll post that up along with pictures on the mormon hornington thread since its probably more appropriate there, here in a while.
