no deer again for me this year.no surprise there.iv been deer hunting for over 20 years now and iv still never got one.i admit it,i just ain't no hunter.then again we're limited to hunt a nocturnal animal with incredibly superior senses than ours without dogs, bait or any real assistance at all during the day.so oh well lol.
i did use a deer call and called out a couple this season, but the buck i called out was far to quickly gone before i could properly identify he had antlers and then a doe came out a few days latter via the call, and of course she stayed out there for a whopping 10 mins eating grass (no doe permit.) frigging bitch lmao.
freaking cold out yesterday.glad thats over now.lets go pats!

Another day another dollar for the governor...
I probably shouldn't complain tho....as I'm only working 2 days this week, lol
Spent much of yesterday working on an old Bachman G-Scale train I had as a kid, fixing it and putting it back together. Got it working, somehow! It's below the tree now, pretty cool!

Afternoon Mainers!! 50* here this afternoon. One more day of that, then its rain/snow/rain for the next few days.
Any pictures of that train set up Tom? I have been meaning to get my dads old Lionel trains rolling for years. A couple of them may have even been his dads!

I actually have a video....not sure if I can link it tho, I'll try.
I probably should start the December thread, huh? lol

I've had a lot of trains over the years, (Haven't touched any in over a decade tho) never had a Lionel. I'd LOVE an real old one. (The old school full metal, Made in the USA ones.)
Never had the extra dough around to do it. My father has this neat old N scale one he bought in (West) Germany in the 80's....I plan to pull it out this weekend and set it up. NONE of the sets have been used in over a decade. I have another one in the basement (HO Scale) that I need to find the parts for. Might seT That one up as well....set all 3 up inside themselves! lol!
