So, if I want to do this modification, I need to find an 87 E150 or E250 van (with 4.9L)?

What other year's of van's work?

 

Any 300 with a serpentine belt, up through 1996.

 

Also have to worry about the a/c compressor mounting holes being right size. Idk when they changed them but the bracket i got from the 87 had bigger threads so i needed new bolts. Not a big deal though. Totally worth the swap
