0 ebp after updating edge?

I decided to plug my edge cts into the computer and update it since i never have before. Well i always have my EBP and MAP psi displayed on the screen. I know both were reading 14! Now after i updated this thing its saying my EBP is 0?! but it goes up as i drive around. i have boost also. i forget what it said when i did wide open throttle to see what the boost was. I can do it again if that will help. Last year i had a plugged EBP and tube and it gave me hard shifting, slug, diesel guzzling! Anyways its acting nothing like when i had a plugged EBP. Ill go unplug it then see if the edge claims a different number. I was curious though maybe edge changed the way the program reads my EBP? The PID info on the map sensor says it takes the atmosphere pressure blah blah then gets the number. Well my EBP info simply says exhaust manifold pressure. That's it. So maybe they changed the program? This is what i get for updating it!!!!!!!! Any ideas?

Key on engine off the EBP reads 28/29 thenit throws a EBP sensor circuit error like it should.... I plugged it back in then it goes to 0 and the code stays away.

Any ideas guys? Thanks

I would contact edge and see if they could help you? Sorry. I dont have a CTS and am not that familiar with them. I havn't had any issues with their service either. If you live near Utah, they are located in Ogden and could help you in person if that is preferred.

Here's the idea......

Edge changed from showing an absolute pressure reading to a gauge pressure reading.

No more subtracting ambient atmospheric pressure in your head to figure out what your true drive pressure is.

I was thinking the same thing. i think the made it start at 0 now instead of 14 so atmospheric pressure i'snt involved like you said.

I run mine on race mode typically but when i pull anything i throw it in tow mode. I am more than happy with the edge CTS. It's a night and day difference from stock. When i first got my truck i had very bad plenum boost leaks because the boots turned rock hard because of the oil(someone put the wrong boots on it) so they weren't sealing much. No wonder my EGT's were so high! I put some riffraff boots and intake reinforcements in along with unclogging my EBP tube and a new sensor since it was packed. Now when the truck is in race mode it's WAY better! My point is i was impressed with the difference the CTS made before i fixed all these issues. Now its fantastic! I have let people with duramax's and cummins use my edge and they all love it. Just saying.
