Please post some pics and I can help you more, but if you can't get that stabilizer to work, lift it 2" (try a Ready Lift or whatever 2" lift you want) and then a dual stabilizer set-up. That's going to be the cheapest solution and it will work well.

I saw the pic in the gallery. I'd order the Bilstein 7100 kit, drill and tap that bar to attach the attachment bracket or have the bracket welded on, powder coat it and reinstall.

I edited your post to include the pic.

I would do as Savage suggested, but only if you continue to have issues. I would bet (hope) with the replacement track bar your deathwobble will be gone.

there saying the drag link is so much wider that there is no room to fit OE damper or aftermarket in that size.
If I had a way to lift the truck, I would try myself.

In the photo of your truck, it appears to have room. I think you should talk to another shop or try what suggested for yourself. I am out of ideas, but a small stabilizer is not going to stabilize the load of this heavy of a truck.

In theory, you shouldn't need one at all.
A stabilizer is only going to minimize the impact of either bump steer or death wobble, not stop it.

If you fix the cause of both, you should be able to pull the stabilizer off and be fine... so I think in the macguy's case, if the drag link is the cause for death wobble (and often it is) and that is fixed, he should be fine with his smaller stabilizer.

If the new drag link doesn't fix it, agree that a bigger stabilizer would definitely help.

While I agree with what you started, I will add that a steering stabilizer isn't needed often. However if conditions on or off-road tax the components on the truck, the stabilizer is there to assist and minimize the impact to the driver and the components. So having a small one on there could possibly cause some premature wear...it's iffy, no doubt. I just know if the front end is shaking, I want as much help as I can get to stop it.
