steering gear box rebuild questions

I know there are those who will suggest just buying a rebuilt unit but I am curious to do it myself. What can you tell me about the process and where am I going to run into issues? Are there any press fittings? Will I have to machine anything? I have read through the manual and everything's seems straight forward except the step to " burnish a bushing to size" just how is that done?

The new bushings will need to be reamed to fit the shaft size properly . This is a job for a machine shop unless you have access to a set of adjustable reamers .
