Truck won't shut off

Truck won't shut off
It started as an occasional problem but now it's all the time. I have efuel running off the old fuel heater wire so it eventually shuts down from lack of fuel but not by the key.
I've replaced or checked
Glow plug solenoid (replaced)
Key switch (the one in the column under the dash)
All wires going to glow plug solenoid
Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm getting tired of popping my hood and pulling the PCM relay. Thanks

I take it you have already switched in the PSD? It might have something to do some wiring you had to do for the swap. Fuel injection occurs only because the PCM send the signal to do so. That means for whatever reason the computer thinks the key is still on.
That leaves 2 possibilties at the top of my mind:
1) The key switch is bad.
2) A wiring problem, maybe a short between a hot wire and the wire from the key to the pcm.
It sounds like you need to look at the wiring diagram and get your multimeter out to trace the problem. Good luck, I hate problems like this.

If it were the key switch stuck on, then the e-fuel pump would still be running.
The usual culprit is the GP relay. The always-on big terminal shorts over to the red/green wire small terminal. This provides sneak-back power to the PCM even after the key switch has turned off fuse 22. But in your case, if this happened the e-fuel pump would still be running because it's powered by that same wire.
Hmm, I wonder if it would shed any light to try this experiment - start it up, then go under the hood and pull fuse #22. See if it shuts down right away, or only after the fuel pump starves it.

No it's not normal. Fuse 22 is the PCM relay coil fuse and fuse 9 is the PCM relay contact fuse. So by pulling fuse 22 and and the truck keeps running (the relay is still pulled in) means it is getting power someplace after fuse 22. The only place I can see this happening is a feedback from the GPR. Try disconnecting both small wires on the GPR and redo the test.
