A spectacular fall morning in southern Oregon

My first Fall season here in Josephine County, Oregon. The wife and i both love the dramatic fall colors here. Our property has a seasonal creek right below its fenceline, and the drainage is full of maple trees, which are turning fall colors. The nights are getting cold, mornings have fog running up the Rogue River valley, and late mornings on we are getting picture perfect warm, mild weather. The rains we have already received have gotten green grass growing in our pasture, and our 4 horses are grazing enthusiastically. Do we miss our former home state of California? Nope, not one bit! We no longer recognized the state we had been born and raised in, while we may have changed ourselves, the Golden State has changed more! For the record, we dont wish to change Oregon, it suits us just fine.......Bob

Bob............SHHHH!!
Be certain to tell everybody you still talk to down in cali, that all it does here is rain........24-7-365.......... cold, gray, rainy and dreary.

You haven't even scratched the surface of Oregon yet, enjoy it!
Just don't let on!

Cali plates, Cali Drivers license already replaced w/ Oregon ones.......My daily driver, the Dodge Diesel used to cost me at least $375 a year due to the fact that Ca pretty much required commercial plates on a P/U, if you towed anything, anywhere you could be ticketed for not having them. $194 here, for TWO years, and my insurance has gone down as well.......the only place where im not saving money is due to Oregon's less restrictive gun laws, ive been buying the stuff that simply wasnt available legally in Ca...

Great ain't it..........
Oregon is legal open carry too.
I figured when we used to talk when you were still in cali, that you would tire of that BS.
Never thought you would make it so close though.
