I put on of them on a 292 35 years ago and it had #80 jets in it, so had to find some smaller jets to keep from running so rich. It is now on 64 F700 with HD330 and need new accerlator pump diaprham.
I would try to steer you away from the 4412. It's a circle track race carburetor and isn't set up to work on the average truck engine. I bet it would work great at wide-open throttle, though.
Holley makes a 350cfm version, the 7448, which is a 350cfm version that is usually a better choice.
Running the Holly 4412 500 cfm on my 352 that has been rebuilt. Im not sure of the cam but I do run headers and it works just fine. It bogs a little when the motor is cold but once it is warmed up it runs just fine. FEs are cold blooded motors anyway.

so very very to i think mot every fe moter i have ever seen has had as much of a deslike for the cold as i do and that sayin somthin

I'm assuming you're FE is fitted with a near stock cam and you want to make this your daily driver truck, I'd agree with what Vic said ^^^.

it is a fully stock moter all origanal sept the carb and just lookin for somthin that will help it out beter the the pos one i have now and already is a daly driver have to hand it to ford they made thes things prity dam good back in the day
