F650 Super Truck info needed.

I'm looking to purchase an 04' F650 Super Truck. Truck has a Cat 300 matched with a 6 speed Allison 3000. I currently drive an 11' F350 Powerstroke.
I run about 60,000 miles per year & find myself trading in every 1 1/2-2 years. What I'm wanting is a 300,000+ mile problem free truck. I'm diligent with scheduled maintenance but I want something that will hold up to about 30/70 dirt road/highway without being in the shop consistently after the 100,000 mile mark.
I'd also be open to insight on actual fuel mileage & cost of normal maintenance.
The truck will not be hauling or pulling anything regularly. I'm just tired of trading so often so I want a true 300,000+ mile truck.

It is a really cool truck, but the engine may or may not last that long without a few trips to the shop. It has close to the same injection setup as a 6 litre Powerstroke. Keep that system happy, and you'll be ok. Otherwise, look for one with a Cummins. The Allison should be trouble free for that long, and the rest of it will be good for many many years.

From what I have read online, the Cat C-7 is not known for longevity. 350-500,000 miles is the average engine life.

Thanks Fellas
I have heard that the cummins are more reliable. But they are higher & harder to come by. I've spoken with a fella who works for CAT in sales & he said on a lot of c-7's they need an in frame around 28,000 hours. Not sure how to go about figuring my possible hour usage. But the fact that an in frame he said could easily run $12,000-$15,000 makes me a little gun shy.
Although if it will run 350,000 before it needs that I'd probably be more ok with putting that kind if money in it.
What about all the suspension & so on. Other stuff that can wear out? Any thoughts when using it as a non-hauling daily road wagon?
