Got my Bosch Icon 24" & 22" wipers today. I've never spent that much on wipers before.($39./pr.) at Wally World. Of course they're made in "Chine". I noticed that after they were installed. But they don't talk to me. No "squawk, squawk etc.

Now if you want them to last, keep your windshield clean and rain-ex it every so often.
I use that windshield wiper cleaner fluid with the Rain-x added. It really seems to work!
Yes it does! My wife bought it the first time. I was initially in disbelief that she spent so much on wiper fluid when you could get the blue stuff for less than a dollar, but it worked so well that first winter that its all I buy now. I went through gallons of the blue stuff trying to clean off salt and sludge during winter driving, but a jug of Rain-X can last most of (if not more than) a year for me. In fact, I currently have some of the green bug-remover formula in the Ex right now that have been trying to use up so I can switch back to the orange. (The green bug-remover formula works OK, but I think the regular formula seems to make the water bead off the glass better.)

I use the winter version that actually cleans light frost off your windshield. I use it all year long, that way I don't mix the ratio to the winter version.
When I go to Tahoe or snow country I use the same stuff as Clint mentions. I also use the double 24 in. blades but may try the 23 in on the pass. side. Never thought of it before. Also of note, if you ever forget what size blades you need and use the catalog at Wally World of anywhere else I imagine, they will state the needed blade size as 22. Gotta remember to think big when shopping for blades.
