Jacks & Stuff: What you got?

Just recently finished gathering all my spare tire tools for my mishmash of parts. You could say I'm eccentric enough to make a set that could appear to be factory but works for what I've equipped the truck with.

It consists of a Ford jack, extensions and Dodge wrench with rear adaptor.

So what do you guys carry around or plan to use in your trucks?

My 51 F2 parts truck still has all the original tools. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow...

I carry a small floor jack and a folding 4-way lug wrench. As low as my truck sits, there is no way I could get any sort of bottle jack under it.

My setup is a small scissors jack and a folding lug wrench that all fit in the tool box behind the seat. Not as cool looking as yours.

I've only driven the truck into town several times, so I haven't carried a jack yet. But I do have a fire extinguisher packed.

When I go on long trips I steal the jack assy from my 2005 F-150.
My daily driver (company truck) is a 2005 F-150. Since I've been driving this truck I've had dozens of flats, so many that I wore out the original jack and recently had to replace it. Its a basic scissors type screw jack and works pretty good. I think that it will work just fine for my 49.

Nathan, That's a good looking set up that you put together

Gary, I'm still around, just been laying low. Was working on my house at the river till I tore my bicep tendon and ended up with a 3 month unpaid vacation Not much in the way of internet service down there, so I just check in when I can.

Rich, we're talking about a girl that freezes below 70*, not sure I'll ever get her to AK Yeah, I think I could handle the girl scouts with my sweetie by my side
Sorry for the hijack, back to regular programming :-)
