So what's the dumbest thing
you've done on your psd that you will admit to?
I just replaced the clutch master cylinder, many would say that not getting the pre-bled assembly was my first mistake. It actually wasn't that bad to bleed, with 2 guys. One on top to add fluid, and one on the bottom to remove the roll pin and line from the slave cylinder. Remove the rubber diaphragm from the reservoir and let the line gravity fill full of fluid, shove the line back in the slave, roll pin back in place, work the slave in and out (keep the slave compressed a few seconds on each stroke), replace the slave when the guy up top sees no more air bubbles, work the clutch pedal 20-30 times to remove last bit of air, and put the rubber diaphragm back in the reservoir. Just one piece of advice if you don't remove the rubber insert from the fluid reservoir, it won't matter how much pumping you do, you will never get it bled

not a PSD, but the dumbest thing I have done lately( with in the last month)...
Yanking the new tires off my old truck (97 250hd) before sending her to the dealer as a trade.
Beating the heck out of the rear tire to get it off the truck, old plow truck so its all rusty. Stopped out of breath and noticed.....
Why is there only 7 lug nuts on the ground, where did the other go??????
Yep, it was on the truck.
At that point, I sat down and quit for the day.

LOL..
I have done more stupid things, just not lately or out of context with a truck...
Such as laying a hammer on top of a step ladder, 3 times in a row and yes it fell on my head 3 times while moving the ladder, all in the same day....
sad thing is I do not even drink, maybe I should....

I confess I did this years ago at a BP station. I realized my mistake after I had pumped about seven gallons. I cranked the truck just long enough enough to pull it away from the pumps. I found and empty 30 gallon drum, bought a pump and fuel filters, drained the tank, change the filters, refilled with diesel and drove away.
