I don't think he deserves the pink slip either. But unless we are totally misreading the signals, the Dodgers don't plan to sign him. Not sure if they don't want a long term contract, or if they just want to clear out the last of the old regime.

He was "re-upped" by Coletti for 2014 after the Dodgers knocked off the Braves.
But yesterday I read on AOL sports, that he said he doesn't know if he's returning, since it took so long for the Bums to get up off it, he doesn't 'feel wanted.'
Baker available as is Bobby Valentine, who the LA press said for years was the 'favorite' to replace Lasorda. That didn't happen.
During the season, Lasorda had a heart attack, Valentine managing in Japan, so the Bums chose Bill Russell, former SS and Lasorda's bench coach.
Anyone know what happened to T. J. Simers? Since June, I've called the Times sports dept three times, given a different answer each time.
