Hey guys, looking for some advice. The front lip on my 1963 uni is rusted through and spreading quick (I live in Seattle). I had a body shop I trust look at it, and they pretty much said it was a lost cause. It would be cheaper to find a GOOD solid used hood and paint it to match OR buy an after market. I'm not having much luck finding anything used, they all seem to be rusted out just like mine - or worse! I've come up empty on anyone that repro's a hood (61-66 I think is the interchange). Anyone know where to find a good hood, new or used? I'm heading over to Spokane this weekend, and I'll check the yards over there. Thanks in advance.

I was lucky enough to locate a very good condition, rust free hood over the weekend at a Spokane area wrecking yard. Looks like I don't need any help after all. Also looks like I have a spare hood, or at least I will once I get the new hood painted and swapped into service.

1961/66 B500/700 (B: School Bus) & F100/700. 1961/66 B & F750/1100 is not the same.
