a 205 t-case question

hey guys, i found the remains of a 73? F-350 for the swap into my 78.
the problem is the 205 t-case shifter is stuck in 2 wheel drive. the truck has been sitting unused since the cab almost fell off it back in 2000.
the guy threw a tarp over it behind the barn and it has been sitting there since then.
i got it for scrap price, $200
it has a siezed 360 engine, and 4 speed which i am not going to use.
D-44 open knuckle front with disc brakes, and a d-60 rear with 4:10 gears.

but i can not move the t-case shifter. what are the chances it is just a rust frozen shifter and what are the chances something is messed up in the t-case?

tanks, that is what i did yesterday. i figured it was just frozen from rust, but did not take a wrench and disconnect it yet to test the t-case.

that was Bob seniors field truck.
he took real good care of it. i bet it don't even have 70,000 miles on it.
and the old man was the only one who ever drove it. it was parked when he died.
