ford expedition leaking coolant

i have i 2001 ford expedition 5.4l with a coolant leak that seems to only appear when sitting over night.the coolant is setting in the valley of the motor which i can see in the front behind the thermostat passage that runs behind the alternator.any suggestions would be great before i start tearing down the top of the motor so i can get a better direction in trying to find the problem other than guessing.

Coolant hose is leaking that runs underneath the intake manifold is my guess.

Between the upper and lower intake manifolds is a coolant tube and an O-ring seal. Both are known for leaking. You're going to have to remove the upper intake to get to either of these.
