Good morning everyone. I just requested to join the Minnesota chapter of FTE. I'm Drew, 19, and I live in Savage, MN but my heart still resides on a piece of land between Windom and Worthington on a farm place my grandparents on my dad's side farmed and raised my dad and my aunts and uncles.
My grampa bought a '47 Ford 1 and a half ton work truck with a grain box/dump bed on it brand new back in '47 and wore out many a flathead v8s in it with trucking, using it for farming and what not. My dad's first truck was a '74 F-100 XLT Ranger that came with (I THINK) a 360 in it (don't qupte me on it, not sure if the top of my head if that was a Dodge-exclusive motor or not) but it was a dog and had a lot of problems so my dad swapped that with a 390 from their old Mercury car that was just sitting out in the grove. But now, my dad and I share a 1996 F-150 XLT 2wd extended cab with an 8 foot bed. Has 217,000 miles and some change on the engine it came from the factory with but she's getting tired so I'm saving my nickles and dimes right now to rebuild the engine and trans. and getting her running like a song.
Anyway, hope I'm not breaking any rules or what-not just thought I'd introduce myself as another fellow Minnesota Ford truck lover. Hope you all have a nice day! I'm goin to help harvest some corn!

Good morning everyone.
Welcome Drew. It's a great bunch of guys around here. Like someone said before ... protect your wallet. We are very good at spending other people's money. No one's money tree around here is blooming or they haven't found it, so we settle for spending other people's money.
