New Garage/Shop

Yes, but this was in the original plan. I will most likely be reducing my tractor collection by one along with it's snowblower so that will return some space.

The construction crew did some more work this weekend. Thursday they started installing the siding on the front wall.
Then today Ray (wife's cousin) produced a relic from the 60s (I think I'm either having flashbacks or a bad trip).
After that, his son John, worked some more on the shower installation. One of the problems is the drawing the supply house gave us has a different drain location than the way the stall is built. He is having to build a platform under it so the drain will connect. Fortunately the trap was built in before the slab was poured.

Finally they got some more work done. I sort of put Ray Doughty on notice, he needs his Chevrolet rust heap van fixed and I told him until I can move things around, specifically until the siding is off the floor on one side, I can not work on it.
This is looking up at the bottom of the storage floor from the alcove and wood shop.

Some more storage floor progress. Thursday they got about 2/3 of it done, came back this morning and finished it up. Then this afternoon Ray and I put some things up there.

Ray Doughty has been working on the front siding and some inside the shop during the charming weather our friends out West have been sending.
Window was originally in the bathroom in Newport News, grille is where the A/C exhaust will come out.
While this has been going on, I have been dealing with his work truck, an ex-VSP accident investigation Chevy G30 that had been worked on by either Larry, Moe and Curly, or Shayde Tri, Hamm Phist and Jack Legg. Two broken off bolts in the block and the big accessory bracket wired to the motor mount to hold it in place.

The remainder of the siding was installed Thursday morning.
Yesterday I went back to the junkyard and got the rest of what I needed for his Chevy G-30 but won't be doing much since my good friends out West sent us some more rain and I think Noah may need some help rounding up the unicorns.
