Installed leveling kit, shocks, new tires

Finally got around to installing a leveling kit on my '96 F150 and it looks fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the results. First some pics.
The original coil spring and shock absorber:

The new 1.5-2" lift coil spring and Doetsch Tech 8000 shock absorber:

The truck as it sat with old springs and tires:

The truck as it sits now:

The leveling kit (1.5" to 2" lift) was $190. This consisted of the coil springs and adjustable bushings they said would be needed for the new alignment that would be required after the installation (BTW, the mechanic said an alignment was not needed, more on that later). The shock absorbers were $90. The new tires - BF Goodrich All-Terrain 31X10.50 R15LT - were $170 each. So the total was just under $1000.
Installation of the springs and shocks took about 2 hours total and went pretty smoothly. I had been hitting all of the nuts/bolts with WD-40 a few times each week for the last month in anticipation of the install, and the only one I had a problem with the the retainer clip bolt on the pass. side spring. It broke off and I had to drill it out and use a tap and die set to re-groove the the hole. You can see it's a new bolt in the pic. I did not need a spring compressor to put the new ones on.
I took it to Sears to get the new tires and an alignment. I gave them the new bushings that came with the leveling kit. When I picked it up, he said no adjustment was needed, so he gave me the bushings back and no charge for an alignment. It drives fine, doesn't pull one way or the other on the highway, so maybe he's right. Does this sound right to you guys?

Thanks!! To me, it looks like the tires sit just a hare like \ / Very difficult to tell though, so it's very close to the naked eye. I think I might take it to a different shop and have them check it out.

Very Nice!! I did get mine aligned but didn't need any bushings. Mine was out prior to the install and the axle pivot bushings were gone too so I can't say it was needed due to the springs. What made you decide against the 32's? I was planning on going tire shopping later so any advice would be helpful.

I didn't want it to look too aggressive. I wanted it to look as "stock" as possible. This might get me banned form this website, but I don't like the super jacked-up, huge tire, monster-mudder look that a lot of the trucks have on this site. Oh yeah - that and the 31's were on sale!!

How dare you!!! You son of a....just kidding. Your truck looks great! I totally get it, I am not a fan of big lifts and huge tires either. I do like the aggressive look thought so I ended up going with 33 Goodyear duratracs. I went looking for the BFGs like yours but these came out to be a little cheaper so I gave them a go. I didn't get home until late last night so it was too dark for pics but I'll take some and post them later.
