1958 Front Suspension swap concerns!
I'm considering front suspension swaps. It sounds like the Panther body front suspension is the easiest, however I'm concerned about the track-width and not being able to use my original wheels. Any ideas? Suggestions? Are there wheels that can be used on that suspension that look old? Any problems from the Crown Vic/Marquis/TC or are they all EXACTLY the same? I'm also going to use the 4.6L engine. Any issues with mounting? Any advice would be great. Oh and I'm using the Lincoln Mk viii rear irs, which the trac-width is pretty close to the orginal, so that doesn't sound too bad. I'm just concerned since I've read several comments on the "super-wide" crown vic's track-width.
My truck is a 1958 F100, PURE rat rod outside with a custom interior out of a 1979 Lincoln Town Car.
