I have a 98' f150 with a radio bezel without a temp control divider. Will a radio bezel from a 97', 99', 00', 01', 02',03' with a divider fit in place of the 98' bezel?

On my 98 the dash has a top-centered support bracket that prevents the radio from going beyond 3 inches back on the upper 1/3rd of the stock radio. This bracket can be unbolted if are willing to remove the two bolts holding it on the face of the dash and remove the rear bolt(s) also. When you slide out your stock radio you will easily see this bracket. I think they removed this bracket in the 99 and later models.
I used a $8 ebay kit that had a 3" upper pocket with a standard sony stereo.

 

98_250 Thank you for the information. The bezel I was referring to is the dash bezel that surrounds the radio and temperature controls. My descriptions of a problem do get confusing at times. Thanks again.

 

Though an extensive search was done on site and no information found, I took a chance and rolled the dice. The dash bezel with a divider between the temperature controls and radio does fit where the bezel that had no divider was. FYI
